Who We Are
We are Josh and Megan Collier, and our little family is excited to provide you with some delightful teas, a little (but hopefully a lot) of laughter, and some lessons in freedom.
First off, we believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. All glory goes to Him, and our strength comes from Him and Him alone. The ultimate freedom is found in salvation through Christ, where we get to live in eternity with Him. This place is not our home, but we will continue to fight for our God-given freedoms He bestowed upon us so that generations after us will know Jesus, and know the freedom He provides. This is the reason we have three Bible verses on the back of every tea John 8:36, Galatians 5:1, and Romans 8:3-4.
A little background in how Teas for Freedom began. In September 2021, Josh found himself having to choose between remaining unvaccinated for Covid or keeping his job as office manager. He obviously chose the freedom route and made the decision to leave his employer of almost 10 years. We know this is a very relatable story to many of you.
At this point he decided to make his own path by meshing his love of all things freedom, and Megan’s love of tea, he ultimately came up with Teas for Freedom.
Josh’s path started as a fan and concepts of liberty and freedom, but not really knowing the real ideas until he read the book “The Law” by Frederic Bastiat. This book and author truly led him to understand liberty, freedom, and free market principles of Austrian Economics. He was the treasurer for a group called Flagstaff Liberty Alliance, and he even ran for office. He unsuccessfully lost in the primary in 2016 for Coconino County Board of Supervisors District 4. He ran on a platform of liberty, transparency and fiscal responsibility.
Although not directly involved in politics as much as he once was, Josh is still active in listening to political podcasts, YouTube videos, and thinking critically about the claims of any and all politicos and political personalities.
We hope you enjoy our teas, but most of all, we hope they make you laugh, and inspire you to learn more about the liberties we have to keep fighting for in America and across the world.

Josh is the idea-bringer for Teas for Freedom. Not only is he very educated in politics in general, but he’s also a critical-thinker, has a way of making light of serious topics, always appreciating good satire. He loves to teach his family and those around him about freedom.
Megan Collier
Owner, Editor, & Tea-Tester
Once a Democrat, now turned Independent, Megan has learned so much about liberty and freedom in the past few years. Her love of editing helps us share the message of freedom, but her favorite role in Teas for Freedom is taste-testing all the delicious teas, and hand-selecting them for you to enjoy.
